Filiera Italiana Foraggi is a spin-off of AIFE, the Italian association of dried fodder producers, aims at the international dissemination of products and services of fodder processing plants, supporting their presence on foreign markets also through the collaboration and partnership with foreign companies.

Filiera Italiana Foraggi is a member of CIDE (European Dehydrators’ Working Group), an association grouping together 7 national organizations with a total of 160 associated dehydration companies located in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Denmark, Bulgaria and the Netherlands.

Filiera Italiana Foraggi brings together about 30 fodder producers located in 8 Italian regions employing about 13,000 stakeholders: 900 employees, 8,000 farmers, 4,000 subcontractors and suppliers for an average annual production of about 1,000,000 tons obtained on a total harvesting area of about 90,000 hectares.
6 Italian ports are involved, and with the maritime navigation allied businesses Filiera Italiana Foraggi achieves a turnover of about 400 million euros per year
